Can't wait for the final. Should be a great game if both teams give everything which I'm sure they will. Can't see Chelsea winning in all honesty but I'd like to see them win it.

The thing with taking Carroll is defenders double up on him which leaves the other striker (hopefully Defoe/Rooney when he is available) free to run through a gap created by the defenders sticking on Carroll. I noticed this during the back end of our season and realised how much he was actually doing for the team. It looked like he was playing bad yeah, missed a few sitters also but he wins a lot of headers takes 2 sometimes 3 defenders out the game and he is good at holding the ball up.

When in form he can finish also and he is just finding his feet with us so I think it was a good pick myself.

Hope Blackpool and Chelsea are victorious today, but got a strange feeling Bayern will win 3-1 and Blackpool will lose in extra time...

Carroll should never of been picked over Crouch it's the same story all the time tho if you play for us you're not even worth a look at. Even just look at goals Crouch has got a great record of scoring, and Mich you need to remember Crouch get's as many defenders making him as Caroll.

There's no reason why Shawcross shouldn't of had a shout I would pick him anyday over Cahill no questions but the difference is 1 plays for Stoke.

The problem with Munich is they are poor at the back. Borussia Dortmund destroyed them last weekend.

If it wasn't for home advantage I'd say Chelsea should win. Hope advantage makes it an even tie.

Ribery is a beast, if he plays well then Bayern have a chance, but down the other end, I just don't think their centre backs will be able to handle Drogba

Considering all the players that are missing, the Munich defense is just as good as Chelsea's- awful.

What are Chelsea doing? Did they not watch the tape of the cup final this weekend? You beat Bayern by attacking them, because they crumble. That's exactly what Dortmund does every time.

And you're completely right about Gomez. He needs 4-5 decent chances until he finally puts one in. He gets goals because he plays for teams that create 10 chances per game. Every time I see him play, I get less confident about Germany's chances this summer, if Klose indeed turns out to be injured.
