I wouldn't have the players Championship format as that as got it's own separate format away from the league, i wouldn't have 4 killer games per fixture set due to your own words on killer at 2 per set. I know it wont happen tho as no one here agrees with me.
If people wanted to play the players Championship format then i'm sure they would enter the side tournament.

You should provide your own suggestion for the format if you don't like the things that have been proposed. Then people can have a choice!

Which is why I wouldn't think of putting it like that. The format HAPPENS to be the same format that's used in the Player's Championship. Other than that, it has nothing to with it. Think of it as coincidence.
