I would love to play Germany in the semis. Getting a little payback from the World Cup would be soo sweet, however unlikely it is. Really can't see us getting past Italy though, not even a glimmer of hope.

Jeez what a boring day... no football I have quite enjoyed this tournament, all the games have been pretty good that ive seen I have to say, and good that theres not been too much racism, just a bit.... although Denmarks Bentner got fined more for showing his pants than Croatia did for racially abusing Balotelli...well done Fifa/Uefa.

I think most people would fancy Portugal, Germany and Spain to go through, and people then are split on the England Italy game.... Italy will be without Chilleni who has a thigh strain.. and looks like they will play Balotelli instead of DiNatalie for his presence... headlines are waiting for Mario. Nasri scored against his team mate Joe Hart in the French game, just hope Balotelli doesnt do the same..

But its Portugal and the Czechs up first.. Czechs would you believe topped Group A by scoring 4 goals and conceding 5.. thats unheard of... Portugal big favourites with Ronaldo.. Postiga isnt very convincing for me.. can Czechs spring a surprise?

Take Ronaldo out of the side Portugal look toothless to me. They managed to abuse the fact that Holland 1) had useless full backs and 2) needed to keep coming forward to score.

They just kept hitting them on the counter at pace, but I can't see how they are going to beat a side who are disciplined. I like the look of Selassie the Czech RB.Think he can deal with Nani/Ronaldo in the pace department. Also really like the look of Pilar (pronounced Peelash) don't think he's been tackled so far this tournament. Really illusive. Having said that, Petr Cech needs to improve big style to give them a chance. He's been shocking.

France might hold Spain long enough to beat them on pens I guess but I doubt it, Germany will probably beat Greece 3 or 4 goals to nil, and England will bravely lose on Pens to Italy with Joe Hart missing the vital peno

Czech Republic 4/1 to win after 90mins, defo worth a bet if you are that confident. I reckon Portugal will win with ease, didn't watch Holland against Portugal just saw the highlights Nani looked a big threat as well, what a pass for Ronaldo's second goal.

Czechs were absolutely dreadful... think it shows how poor Group A was. They gave nothing at all up front, and played for penalties from the beginning, Portugal dominated and Ronaldo hit the post twice again before a great header! Easy win!!! Peter Cech must of been scratching his head all game... oh and Howard Webb had another great game himself refereeing!

Germany Greece next...everyones going with the Germans for an easy 3 goal margin plus. Well its either gonna be a comfy win for Germany or a stalemate... go on Greece!

Seriously, there's nothing I would love more than an England v Germany game in the semis. Whether we win, get battered, lose in penalties or have a blind linesman I don't really care. England v Germany games are usually some of my favs. Still can't see us getting past Italy though.

Well out of all the Quarter Finals, 3 of them seem foregone conclusions.. the England Italy game is just one that could go either way depending on who performs best... and its a bit of an unknown game because the last time England and Italy played against eachother was way way way back in 2002 which Italy won 2-1.

Gonna be fascinating game!
