Relatively safe game for Germany. Two missed sitters in the beginning, followed by the goal. The Danes had one chance the entire first half, which was their goal out of nothing.
In the second half, the Danes even sat back defending like the Portuguese with 11 men despite needing a goal?!?

You're gonna allow chances in every game- Germany allowed 2 or 3 including the goal. Fairly comfortable.

Right now I think Germany are going to win it. Can't see Spain winning it for a reason I can't quite put my finger on. Also think Portugal have a decent chance. They looked quite good tonight and will take some beating.

True, but then again, Portugal all game and Denmark in the second half pretty much played the way Greece will play us (they'll be a bit more extreme I guess).
They'll be without Karagounis as a threat as well... Germany came out of a group with Portugal, Netherlands, and Denmark with 9 points- couldn't have gone better.

Spain is still the team to beat of course! They've won everything the last two tournaments and unless someone takes them out, they're favorites.

Not quite sure why a lot of people seem to think Germany will win. They've done well but they're not playing great football.

Who Da Man Well what a surprising showing from the Netherlands, 3 games 3 defeats, dont think anybody saw that happening.. World Cup Finalists out without a single points! Reminds me of World Cup 2002 when World Cup Euro Winners France lost against Senegal and Denmark and went out. Its not like the Dutch didnt qualify for this tournment with great difficulty either! So Germany Vs Greece and Portugal vs Czechs....you'd favour The Group B teams.. but I think there might be one surprise team in the Semi Final..... England lol

The kind of football they play is irrelevant, they have come out of the toughest group with 9 points. That's why I think they'll win.

we all know how greece will play, wont be a full blown conclusion that germany will win IMO

Looks like Spain will top the Group with either the Italians or Croatia 2nd... a 2-2 draw for Spain/Croatia will send Italy out even if Italy beat Ireland 9-0....

If England and France win tomorrow both will be level on points and it will come down to goal difference... France currently +2 and England +1 so England will have to better the result tomorrow, so if France win 1-0, England need to win 2-0.... as England would then top the group on goals scored! So if its 2-0 to france and 2-0 to england with 10 mins to go.. Hodgson should send all his attackers on to get a 3rd to avoid Spain in the Quarters!!

Should be good games today, intrigued to see how Bilics boys do against the Spaniards......

Still have to get something from Ukraine yet... At the start of the tournament I would have been glad if England reached the quarters so I'm not going to worry about who we get just now . Would be nice to avoid Spain though.

It's done on head to head. If Spain, Croatia and Italy all end up on 5 points it comes down to this basically. Ireland results are not in the equation.

Croatia played very well and should of scored with that header! I was willing the Croats on but also wanted it to be a draw as Spain would of been 2nd.. then Spain bloody scored to win and top the group... shame! Modric was fantastic, what a cross for the header as well. And well done Bilic actually for going for it with 25 minutes to go rather than 5 mins to go.. good manager he is I think

Shay Given made couple bad decisions again in the Italy game, but he was injured coming into the tournament and wanted to play, still a top keeper... Balotelli being a bit of an idiot though gesturing towards the Coach after a a good goal actually and one of his team mates stopped him gesturing. When will he learn? Why always him???
