Jordan Henderson now in the squad.. what a stupid decision.... only reason he is in is coz he plays for the Scousers. Ludacris. He wouldnt get into my Pub B Team. Terrible. Can you imagine France 1-1 England 70th minute and on comes.. Jordan Henderson.... says it all. Oh well onwards and upwards.

I think Henderson is about to become a vital player for us next season. Brendan Rodgers puts emphasis on keeping the ball, and Hendo very rarely gives it away. He is going to be our Joe Allan figure. As long as you are intelligent you've got a chance with Rodgers.

He won't play much in the Euros coming up anyway barring huge injuries.

If he does though, he will have a stormer. I can see it now... we will get huge offers from abroad. Milan and Madrid will have a bidding war. ... Back in the real world, It's going to be Stevie and Parker in the middle.

Seriously Henderson is average at best.

I dont think England should be allowed to play in this Euro's. We Have a different manager and a different team. If we played the qualifiers now we wouldnt make it into the competition so we should be kicked out in place for a better team like... Malta.

"Lampard is out, so who do you think should replace him -"

"Phil Jones
Jagielka
Scott Parker
Henderson
Milner"

LOL! Are you jooooking me! I would rather play Roy in there tbh.

Parker, Lampard, Rooney, Barry, Ferdinand, Sturridge, Richards, Lennon, Bent... just to name a few are going to miss this Euros.

1 week remaining so I'd imagine a few more are going to pop off.

Disgusting when this is all we have to offer the European Union. Its embarassing and cheap. I would say we would get battered... but England are so boring its impossible. We have about the fire power of a sparkler and we drain every single team we play. So it will be 1-0 losses throughout. 6-8 Defenders per game with Carroll as a lone striker. When that fails it will be Defoe and Welbeck when that fails and we are out it will be Rooney and Welbeck and it will again fail and thats England for another two years.

Looking at the 2014 WC.. no terry, rio, frank, steve, cole, parker... Might as well support Wales/Scotland/Northern Ireland.

Looking forward to the Euros though. Will have more interest in the other groups as opposed to England though. Don't even think I'm an England fan anymore. I can't imagine myself being happy when England score?

If I contrast the Champions league final feeling compared to England winning... I would say about 0.05%. So if they score it will be like, oh great, I lost my bet.

Breden Rogers Liverpool manager -

Very good manager regardless of how he does at Anfield. I can't see him getting the support of backing he wants even though they claim he is "First choice"... but he is ex Chelsea, ex Swansea and all the clubs he has been apart of all respect him immensly.

Loved the comment "Have you spoken to Jose Mourinho?"... He casually replies... "No... we have only had a conversation via text".

Its a strange one, I dont like Liverpool but I like Rogers. I dont want him to crash down in estimations because Liverpool are average. I think he had to leave though. Otherwise you would kick yourself if Swansea's players got stolen and he was left with nothing.

Great bloke and I'm sure he will do his best.

Cue Power said...

Yet again, nobody supporting Chelsea in Brighton. Which is 30 minutes away from Chelsea... so poor.

And yet you dont support the country you live in. So do the right thing and attatch an England flag to your car window

Euro2012 is actually gonna be a Tournament where England fans wont be travelling as much as they have previously.. when you think about past tournaments when 100,000 people turned up, the scene or Poland and Ukraine the England fans havent even bought the tickets... been priced out by premierm expenses, as well as safety issues and.. what is there to do over there? No Algarve is there.... just hope Pubs dont put the price of beer up god dammit

Panorama programme other day looked a bit disturbing with the racist abuse and violence.. of course this was for a normal League game and security will be stepped up massivly for the Euros... do we think there will be any incidents on this? Least Uruguay arent involved, Luis Suarez would be getting High 5s.

Mario Balotelli has said he would walk off the pitch if somebody threw a Banana at him.. Roberto Carlos did a similar thing over in... ahh I forget where he plays. Russia or somewhere!

Bit of a furore over Italy at the moment with the further match fixing scandal with suspicious results in, get this, 33 matches.. and even the Italian Prime Minister has called for a suspension of football, and the Italy Manager Prandelli has said he would have no problem if Italy were to withdraw.. cant see that happening with only a week to go...

I think Cristopher Samba got a banana thrown at him in Russia as well. All those countries have a big problem but I'm with you, sure the security will be of high standard for the Euros.

I remember hearing a story about John Barnes having a banana thrown at him and he started doing keepy ups with it.

Classic Digger.

Really beginning to annoy me now people saying we are not gonna do any good just because Jordan Henderson is in the squad, have you mindless idiots not learnt anything from the last major tournament when everyone just focused on Rooney...

We have a 23 man squad one player will not win or lose us anything, will contribute towards any games he plays whether we win or lose judge him on his performances as and when not before hand.

I watched him every time he played for Liverpool this past season and when he played in the middle he was ruthless, against United for example, tore them apart. Same when he played against Chelsea.

You are writing the hopes of England off based on a 21 year old who probably won't feature much, before the tournament has even started... Get a grip will you.

You are meant to be supporting your country and players not criticising them before they have even had a chance to show their worth.

Yeah Hendo is reaping the rewards for not taking the hump and going on his holidays unlike Carrick he refused to be on the back up squad.

In the end the choice Roy had was Henderson or someone like Leon Osman who is 31 years old for the back up squad. Might as well give youth a chance.

Basically though it does highlight how poor our midfield is. Yann M'Vila is struggling for fitness in the France squad for example and to replace him is the very talented Yoann Gourcuff.

Speaking of France, I know we like to think that they are not as good as they used to be, but I read somewhere that they are now unbeaten in their last 20 games. To play them in the first game of the tournament is going to be very tough for us.

England V Belgium soon.

I actually think Belgium will win this. Their squad of players is amazing really.

Real talented team full of exciting players. Kompany, Vertonghan and Vermailan and Van Buyten at the back, Mignolet in goals.

Defour, Fellaini, Hazard, Mertens, Dembele, Witsel, Chadli in midfield.

Lukaka and Mirallas as striking options.

That midfield and defence though is formidable. Really young squad too.

Should be a good game this unless we drag it down to our level

Was quite boring to watch but at least we have two wins to take into the Euros. Not quite like playing France but going into the Euros with two wins and clean sheets can't be a bad thing.

Unbelievable a talented team like Belgium didnt qualify and following that....well done England for beating them with a clean sheet. Holland won 6-0 vs Northern Ireland today...says really nothing but they travel with a positive feeling to Ukraine now.
I put my money on France....when they least expect it...
