The dutch won't win it. Expect them even not surviving the qualifying part where Germany is a better team and Portugal comparabale. But Holland is really weak in the back four and key players as van Persie and Sneyder dont seem to have their topform.
France is my favourite...watch them....and you will because its your own group

Harold.... Van Persie just won Player of the Year, so he is in very good form... and the Dutch just won 6-0, albeit vs Northern Ireland. Netherlands are good offensivly... in Defence they are good also, Netherlands are a better team than Portugal so id probably expect Netherlands to beat them, with Denmark losing all 3 games.

But the 2 teams in Group B to go through (Netherlands and Germany)... will then face 2 teams from Group A... Czechs, Greece, Russia or Poland.... So id expect both teams from Group B to reach the Semi Finals AT LEAST. ... Shame England didnt get into Group B lol

Ukraine's manager says an act of "sabotage" might have caused the outbreak of food poisoning affecting 10 members of his Euro 2012 squad.

The players suffered the illness prior to the friendly against Turkey in Germany, which they lost 2-0.

"It happened in Germany, but it is impossible to establish the causes - all ate different food," Oleg Blokhin told Ukraine television.

"It may have been sabotage, I do not know. It cannot be accidental."

Striker Andriy Shevchenko and midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk are two of the players affected.

Holland are a bit dodgy at the back I think. Matijson and Heitinga are solid enough. Gregory Van Der Wiel is an exciting full back but not good defensively and I don't even know who their left back will be! They will get good cover from the likes of De Jong and Van Bommel though.

Good keepers behind them as well. Stekeleberg as number 1 with Vorm and Krul as backups. Probably the best depth of all sides in that area. England have Hart then bloody Green and Butland!

Think Holland have a great chance of winning the tournament just because of their fire power up front. Van Persie and Huntelaar have both been on fire this season. Interesting to see who plays up front out of those two cos I doubt they will go 2 up top.

Overall I think its a good mix of flair and grit that side. De Jong, Van Bommel, Heitinga, Kuyt are all work horses.

Real great group they are in though. Cannot wait to see them face Germany!

Why would the Germans do that? They are in our group. They wouldn't want to help us. More likely it was a French chef.

Just reading this on twitter from Raymond Verheijen. He's a fitness coach who used to coach with Wales and got into a bit of bother by asking to be Wales coach after Gary Speed died. He now works with Russia as a fitness coach adviser. He is also the personal trainer of Craig Bellamy and has got him back on the pitch again. Anyway he just said:

Players who have won the Premier League or even the Champions League don't need intensive training. They are top fit and only need freshness.

Everything the man says makes perfect sense. How can he be given stick for that? I never quite thought of the injuries like that but he's spot on in my opinion.

If any more of you wise knowledgeable football experts want to prove that your dubious analysis is correct, do the Euro predictions!

Ha Portugal arent as good as they were 6-8 years ago. They did concede 4 at HOME against Cyprus, out qualified by Denmark and only made it through in the 2nd Leg of their Playoff, albeit 6-2, but were held 0-0 in the First versus Bosnia.

P.S Lewis McGugan should of been in for Lampard

Looking forward to seeing how England handle France. Heard commentators mention we look tough to break down but with tougher opponents and possible injury problems we won't be able to play off being tough to break down. If we go 1-0 down then I can't see us fighting back.

Well France are coming into the Tournament as possibly 3rd or 4th Favourite, so coming in with some pressure after their shambolic World Cup...

Nobodys talking about Italy..... though Im quite looking forward to Italy vs Republic in the final group game... think Ireland might sneak through yano...
