am sorry it's so long that you've had to wait!

in the season of christmas and time of good will,
with snow falling fast you can really feel the chill,
so just spare a thought for all those around,
who just like our hippesville is short of a pound

merry xmas,
keep er lit!
be careful on those roads,
coz there aint much grit,
please give generously,
and think of other folk,
they may not be so lucky,
be hungry, homeless or broke.

ive got the years and some experience,
i have to admit that yer good in yer ways,
yer poems are awesome should be publicly displayed.

we bounce off each other and have a good chuckle,
tho some of our poems slightly close to the knuckle,
i love it, it's fun and sure hope we entertain,
but otherwise i think we'll just end up insane.

On the forums I've made a good friend
Although some of her ways she should mend
But I shall accept her for just what she is
If she swears I simply won't get in a tiss

Queen of the forums some say
She used to be on them most of the day
Now I'm not saying that's bad
And for her company, well I'm glad

She can make you laugh and make you cry
The forums give her a bit of a high
So for her the flags we'll unfurl

I find it much easier if there is a subject to write about
on the darkside someone used to say a subject then you would get 6 or so poems on that subject.

The names simply roll off the lips
He writes the most poems by far
One day he might be a star

I said I would write him a poem
With words, that away would blow him
I don't really know what likes
Maybe football or fast motorbikes

I think shorter often are sweeter
And I'm sure that they look neater
So these words are especially for him, he
comes on snooks with the name of Clapton, no Jimi.
