spinn answer my question though, do you think the site is perfect and that there is no possible way it can be improved?
There is no such thing as perfect and everything can be improved.
I think the oft discussed itermediate table would be the best option, with slightly smaller pockets than arcade, and scaled about halfway between the two existing tables.
Reasons for this are that there simply wont be much room on an arcade table with 15 reds at a current scale, and most importantly, the existing arcade game is the most popular on the site, so should be left as it is for new players who are signing up all the time.

That's the thing though, we want 15 red arcade on the original table obviously with alterations just so we have something that has generous pockets of arcade but the freedom of original.

Because this is something we actually want.
Killer was a huge favourite when Nick queried it originally. There are many issues to consider by moving to 15 arcade
1) A new or seperate game
2) Will old rankings remain
3) Issues with table size and ball size
Personally I dont think that 15 ball would change your opinion. Ok maybe until you reached a 147 but somewhere down the road you going to be asking this same question again.

Right can i ask the members who want 15red arcade something?
What happens when you have done everything on there and you can't get everything else, and it becomes like arcade where someone is flying on halfs, cents and maximums? you going to say your bored of that? you want a new one?

Its taken years for us to be saying we're 'bored' of arcade so i think a new 15 red game would last the same distance if given a chance

Arcade has lasted for over 2 years. I'm sure in two years time there will be more available.

Like I've already said a few times, more people voted 15 red arcade but Nick thought Killer was the best option. If we really want something, like we do now, we will give you ideas to get around the problems aroused by making this game. But please just give us the chance of 15 red arcade!

But it's exactly the same as arcade just with more balls, i just don't see the point in it, i'd rather something like doubles or straight snooker than 15 red arcade

First to 35 points you have to pot 1 ball at a time, if you pot 2 its a foul, can't pot of break etc etc etc, it's over on pool, it's really quite good

I get the feeling the site is acting like a "cash cow" (churning out numbers without having to put to much time and effort in to them) however with all cash cows, they will eventially reach saturation/decline. This is my fear for funkysnooker, people will eventially decide to be loyal to a newer model. So in answer to your post Ray, about 6 months down the road, people will want something different, and it's up to Nick to reinvent the site once more to keep interest going, stats don't lie and I make it about 75% of people posting on this site are in agreement, the site is missing something, and that something is a new game type.

^^ straight snooker would be different though as you would still have colours to build a break on (and no max break!)
