See here we go again, the minority once more seem to be getting what they want, straight snooker would be a complete sell out on funkysnookers point of view. We are snooker, not pool, if straight pool comes in a will guarantee you now that i will leave this site in a shot, I dont love the site that much that i'd stay on a snooker site with pool games.

The majority of members who have posted on this thread speak for the majority on the site, and we would like 15 red arcade that is sole improvement that would improve this site. Scotch doubles would also be great but I think 15 red arcade is the main issue here. How about we take into consideration what members really want ?

Doubles is a great idea, i just don't see a point in having 15 red arcade, its the same as original just bigger balls, IMO that won't improve the site it will bring down original

we should do another one of them, that way when we are accused of asking for things and then moaning a week after we can come back to it and say nope, we askd for this...

This is all running away a bit, so lets take stock.

Doubles is coming. The multi-player systems on existing games on both sites help to develop a system that will work, i'm sure Nick will consult more nearer implimentation time.

The name "15 ball arcade" is being interpeted in different ways by different people on this thread, since it has been discussed a few times before. Some think just 5 more balls on the existing arcade table, some think arcade size balls and pockets on an original table, and some thing it should be scaled in between.

Yes, in the past adding an in-between game has been popular with arcade players, but opposed by original players as it could make finding an opponent impossible.

The new games recently introduced have yet to prove themselves. ust because existing players haven't taken to a change (which is normal) doesnt mean new members won't. Lets not forget many of us hated arcade when it was introduced. Ironic huh?

Finally - when so many improvements are made in a short time it is only natural for people to want something changed, rather than move on to something already there but more challenging.

This time last year, before the recent changes, people who completed arcade accepted original as the next challenge and that was that.

Improvement is always good in any gaming site, however constant change is not.

Well maybe this time they will get taken into consideration.
If not then well... we'll keep trying.

Ok so what about the people who love original like Blutch, Lindsell, Cinnamon, Pallosalma it's going to tick them off because of people won't bover playing original because there is the same on arcade, i thought the idea of original was to make a more challenging game which it is, why ruin it for a similar version just on arcade?

obviously the tablew ould be scaled town on 15 red arcade or arcadinal as i called it before. As for spinners point about the people who don't vote being the most important, they are the least important. For example a lot of people won't bother voting for who should run the country, doesn't mean therefore that nobody should. I agree that if we are forever changing then we will create normlessness, but heres another of my arguments.

Should I take up carom and killer now, knowing full well that in 3 months time, when common sene prevails, that they will both be scrapped? Action should be taken now, to avoid disapointment with the minority that play the games, when they have impressive stats. For example, all in all there is very little reason to keep original, other than the people it would tick off such as damee, ste_efc etc...
