Here is what Kanwar later states to somebody who calls him up on the true facts.
Might I suggest that you read the article correctly: I've specifically stated that I have not included Social Security/Pension costs AND that Deloitte includes this info.

Whoopsies!

Yeah, he gets good press but he's nothing special. Downing has been far superior to him this season, and Nani and Valencia are both better players than him already at United.
I also think Mark Albrighton will become a very good player for Villa and perhaps England.
Villa have a good side I think, great youngsters coming through, Barry Banan, Kieran Clarke and Mark Albrighton are 3 that are very impressive.
Not sure about Alex Mcleish though. Seems a strange apointment that one.
Can see a top 6 finish for Villa though, depends how they reinvest the money from Young, and perhaps Downing if he comes to us...

i cant see downing going tbh although neither of them are special they are good players in a mediocre squad just like barry and milner the problem with us people in england is we think our english born players are better than they actually are the only player i can safely say in the past 15 years was world class ... well actually there is two and thats gerrard and beckham to be honest with you thats my opinion.

I wouldnt agree
I dont think Downing will go, as usually when a new manager comes in, 1 big player leaves and the other big player tends to stay for a year extra and it wins the fans over, and Alex will come up with the line that we signed Downing and the fans will like him for this. Id say our English players ARE very good, but when it comes to Internationals they look awful, but in the Prem they were superb.
As for Beckham and Gerrard being the only world class in the last 15 years id say theres been quite a few more such as Scholes, Rooney, Shearer, Ashley Cole and Carlton Palmer

Well as for those players I mentioned....
Scholes retired and EVERYBODY ws saying he was one of the greatest. Iniesta, Xavi, Messi and Pele to name just 4.
Rooney is world class no doubt about this
Shearer again superb player but never in a world class team, would of been interesting to see how he would of done at Man Utd if he had gone there instead of the Toon
Carlon Palmer, just outstanding and would of run rings around Zidane if he had played for Malaga hahahaha

Scholes was very good, Rooney is good, Shearer was a great target man.
Thats why they are "Very good".
Palmer aside, they cannot be considered world class. IMO.

Ashley Cole is the best left back in the world and has been for the last 10 years. Rooney is the best player in the Premier League.

Rooney is not even close. Leighton Baines was better than Cashley last year IMO.
Best footballer in the prem is David Silva. Just nobody knows it yet .

France Football are claiming #LFC set to sign Brest striker Nolan Roux (good prospect, looks like Fernando Torres too)

Just lazy journalism, stemming from the fact he is a Liverpool fan.
