I think this is just a bit more lazy journalism but here goes...

New Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is set to splash out £80m to rebuild the side at Stamford Bridge. Top of his list of targets are Porto duo Radamel Falcao and Joao Moutinho, as well as Santos's Brazilian teenager Neymar.

Falcao is one of the best Strikers in Europe, Moutinho is very good and Neymar from Santos reminds me a little bit of Robinho at 17/18 when he had the world at his feet. Dodgy barnet though, and a massive diver!

Would fit fight in

Kop, uniteds targets end up being United players, liverpool didnt influence jones one bit

You've gone from paying £16.5M to now paying a possible £21.5M.

Unlucky.

Nope we signed him for 16m, the rest is just add onns which are there in every deal

Even by your standards that is some quality ignorrance, Nicko.

What you said there was completely incorrect but oh well, no change there

Even by your standards, that was outrageously...

Not many deals go through that don't have an add on or two, the Phil Jones deal is no different, but no change in getting a response from a him is there

Edited for swearing.

Scholes was very good, Rooney is good, Shearer was a great target man.

Thats why they are "Very good".

Palmer aside, they cannot be considered world class. IMO.

I think Scholes was one of the best midfielders of all to be honest and its not because i support united, but no doubt the_kop will jump on that fact because he has nothing better to do.

Look at how long he connected defense to attack for, 15-16 years and he could have wen't another season.

Rooney, I don't even really need to say anything.. tears defences apart and when he does its always pure brilliance!

Shearer, I was too young to really have seen him in his prime so I can't really comment on him..

David Silva is good no doubt, but what i've seen of him in La Liga and in city, hes not the best player in the Prem by a country mile, you'd expect the best player in a top league to get into his national team... look at nasri, fabregas, gerrard, lampard, even scott parker. Fair enough Gerrard and Lampard had injuries but still better than Silva.

Ashley Young has been at Manchester United today, taking his medical. Announcement about signing could be tomorrow #MUFC #AVFC

Silva is light years ahead of Nasri!

Half a season wonder that lad!

Well Scholes was a very good player.

One of the best ever? No, not particularly. I don't class him as being as good as Gerrard, and I don't class Gerrard as one of the best ever. The best of Englands midfielders of my generation perhaps. Scholes left international football at to young an age to even be comparable to his international peers.

Certainly Xavi and Iniesta are similar yet better players.

Look at the Spain starting XI. Very few play outside of Spain. They played Marcos Senna over Alonso in the 08 Euros.

To be classed an all time great of the game, you pretty much have to perform on the world stage. I would say Lionel Messi is the exception.

Maradonna, Ronaldo (the real one), Pele, Cruyff and Puskas for example all shone in World Cups.

Whereas we had Steven Gerrard and Wayne Rooney, who played like dog turd.

Back on transfers...

Liverpool have been offered the Brazil midfielder Felipe Melo in part exchange for Raul Meireles, the club's Portugal international, who capped an impressive first season in England by being elected the PFA Fans' Player of the Year. Though Liverpool have refused Juventus' approach they have indicated a willingness to cash in on Meireles.

Raul could be off by the looks of things.

I hope Meireles stays, he's a class act. We need to fork the money out for Juan Mata. The thought of him feeding balls through to Suarez is mouth watering! They would be the deadliest attacking duo!

Yeah, but he said they were in every deal. Though now he has changed it to in most deals as you can see by the post 3 above this one at the very top.

Soon he will be right and say "in some deals"

Well, my new pal Andre... most expensive manager in the world and he never even played for a football team or been had any champions league xpierience but I like him. I like how he speaks and his professional manner.

I think 13.3 is far too much money to be spending but then he was cheaper than henderson and jones and lets face it, those two arent going to win you champions leagues and titles etc. thats not a dig thats just common sense.

Pound for pound he has the best mangerial ratios, which is quite reassuring. I like how he seems to of taken a no nonsense appraoch with the media and for bobby robson to employ Andre when he was 16 years old with no footballing history and pay his UEFA fees is pretty remarkable. Robby claiming he had an eye for talent and listening to a 17 year old lad and it paying off.

Falcao, won me a lot of money on the uefa cup final when he scored, i was confident he would score from how the game was being played and he is very similar to Drogba, although not as good. I dont want to be spending 27.6 mill to activate his release clause, i think thats far too much when we have this position secured. Drogba, Torres, Anelka and Sturridge? Why do we need Falcao. Next season or the one after he is more than welcome. Moutinho is talented and fairly young but i don think he will improve the side. Hulk on the other hand who Andre keeps praising, I can see a 30 odd mill move for him.

With Andre at chelsea and hulk saying he would love to play in the prem last season, I can see this being the most likely transfer bid. Altho Hulk is very moody, I guess this is why he is called Hulk after all. I think he would be the perfect signing, but I have only recently thought of him since all this Andre talk was happening.

I wanted Young, but seems he is off to United, Which is a great loss I feel for Chelsea as he would also be ideal, but I genuinly rate hulk a lot higher in class. Maybe due to Young being English and an Aston Villa player so maybe now he will prove me wrong.

Chelsea's midfield especially our flaks "Drognando" (thats my saying!) then we need wide players. Malouda, Kalou dont do enough assisting and creating. Essien Lamps in a diamond form with wide players, or Essien Lamps Malouda with Anelka just infront.

So exciting to see Andre here, great attractive style of football is what he likes and has achieved so lets see how he fairs with Chelsea!! BIG SMILES ALL ROUND CHELSEA FACES THOUGH ATM!

Andddd, the biggest relief of all, which maybe would of made me dispise chelsea is that Rafa Benitez was 9/2 second favourite for the job. I could do a better job than that horrible....

Fair enough i said every instead of some deals, you know what i mean though and there wasn't really much need to jump on something as little as that and being a pathetic little person arguing here 24/7 over stuff like that, lets be fair its all you do, and when you get a reaction like im giving now it makes you look like the bigger man because you'll say something along the lines of "no need for all that" or "all the swearing in the world wont change that" and people will come down on the person you take the mick out of because they react to your childish little ways.

And fyi bellend isn't swearing, look it up if you want thats the first time its ever been removed from one of my posts and you can say it in the chat on the actuall game. So please grow up and stop starting crap with everyone because your a tad stuck up.

Scott Dunn being invovled with Stoke for £12mil, problem is though we don't need another Centre Back so will Huth/Shawcross be staying?

Also Joey Barton might be coming down a long M6 trip to be with the Potters

Sorry on spelling

He's good don't get me wrong but is he £12mil good?

I think we could strengthern in different positions and £12mil would come in good use when put towards another midfielder

Also Fuller is going no where WOOHOO!!

Matty Ettherington will end his career with us, thats a positive

Just need to re-think Rory Delap lol I know a guy who can throw not far of his face, lets hope pulis scouts him

Ashley Young has now sealed the 17million move from Villa to Man Utd, and Mark Lawrenson describes the move "Manchester United is just ideal for him, he couldn't have a better stage, Liverpool were obviously very interested and will be disappointed to miss out and I am surprised Chelsea were not more heavily involved". An absolute bargain at 17million for the well established player and Young himself has stated that he hopes to secure Uniteds 20th League title. Man Utd just need a goalkeeper now....
