It's a great signing, yet again a little too much paid (as is most transfers now) but I just can't see him beating Valencia and Nani to the starting 11. As much as I hate Nani can't deny him and Valencia are pretty formidable.

Young had one year left on his contract at Villa. He would have been free this time next year.

The thing Fergie does well is he somehow manages to keep his bench players happy on the whole (the obvious exception being Berba).

Park will be a bench player most of the season, and Ashley Young may play in the role he did for Villa last year for a lot of the season, which was just behind the strikers.

Though I don't think Fergie will break away from his trusted 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formation.

Certainly has got good competition for places in the attacking positions.

Now he has to find his keeper. Looks like De Gea, but he (De Gea) has been very coy about it recently in the Spanish press.

Also ashley young is a good signing but as some of the posts above said will be tough for him to force ahead of park, nani and valencia, Park and Valencia seem to be first choice for all the big games atm.

I thought he committed his future to Atletico Madrid not long ago and signed a new contract, seems a strange one.

His contract gave him more money per week and he insisted on their being a release clause, which is 45M Euros.

In return Atleti kept him for another season, and now he has loads of years remaning on his contract which means they will get a good price for him.

Juve are going to spend a lot of money this summer, and will probs win the Italian League but I think it is a step sideways for Aguero if he goes there.

Hes bin in the best form of his life just recently, there would be a lot of clubs willing to pay more than 6mil for him. I heard chelsea put a 20mil price tag on him, not sure how true that is tho either.

You never know, the difference is we will guarantee premierleague football and first team, chelsea couldnt even find a spot for him this season so he ended up at Bolton

I think 10mil and we got a good chance but i'm sure the wage bill is a factor aswell
