Could see pens in that game a mile off, I backed Japan to win, but when Cordoza stepped up you just knew it was a goal. The man is a penalty machine. Scored 2 against Liverpool which were perfect.

God i knw japan should have won. I cant remember any paraguay goals from the group stages. They did score didnt they!??? Lol, where as japan's were all good. Shame a world cup has to end like that

They beat Slovakia 2-0 and drew with Italy 1-1.

It was just a bad tie because they both had a fair chance of beating one another, and the 'fear' of losing proved to great. Paraguay are not a bad side, but they are slightly too defensive at times.

Spain & Portugal has to be a cracking game, can't wait.

And Mike when you said "Gerrard was better than Lampit" completely sums it up, you think Gerrards performances were acceptable just because he scored and crossed a decent ball over 4 games, which was more than Frank so Gerrard will receive good national feedback.
