Please Please Please undo the changes made in the past several days!

I use to be able to cut the black from anywhere but now i cant!!

realy not enjoying new changes. the old way the balls were potted looked and felt much better. I dont feel the same satisfaction potting balls anymore and break building does seem harder. love this site bit i just wish it would undo the recent changes

im not enjoying playing reg anymore since the last updates.
it took me a long long time to play well in regular (few 1000 games ). then it all changes . im back to square 1 again now.
i dont no why you had to change to pockets for they were fine the way they were .so frustrating

at first i thought it was me but im sure that its harder to pot now it dosnt seem to wipe its feet then fall anymore it just comes back out. no give

if they havnt been made smaller on purpose is it possible they have by accident

Once you've got the bug...
well it seems once you've got the bug even though I've said, I'm not playing for a while "because" of the new settings, I still come back every day - Let me say, I don't enjoy it like I always have done but there is no alternative - for me this is and absolutely fantastic, perfectly good game - ruined by the new settings.
Its not just the animation, I know full well on some occassions I've been "bang on" for the shot and it misses by a good distance, almost like a HUGE kick - Its not just me, I don;t believe anybody likes these new setting they are just awful, awful awful.
Now I know there will be people that will say "stop moanin and get on with it" - Easiest thing to do here is get the opinion of people, put it to the vote and see. If I'm in the minority I'll shut up, but if I'm right and everyone agrees, please please please go back to the old settings prior to these super glossy cartoon balls.

Right, I will concede that the pockets are playing tighter now, especially on shots along cushions.
However, I still think it's a good change. It means we can't cut everything from virtually every position. Now we just have to learn to hit the center of the pocket, play for position a bit better, and move some reds away from cushions.
Certainly more difficult, but I'm still enjoying it

PS.
One change I would maybe suggest is a slightly different sound when a ball is potted? I think at the moment it is the same sound as a ball rattling the jaws...

ive just played a few games on reg table as a guest,it seems the harder you hit balls the more likely you are to miss-rolling them in dead weight in a controlled way seems the way to go,you seem to need more touch and feel for it.

Yeah I've noticed that too, no good to spank them anymore.

maybe thats a good thing (like i mentioned about bounce outs), im just getting used to it myself but its certainly a lot harder now and especially to make maximums.

A thorough read through this thread negates that belief, I think. There is a fair sprinkling of those that hate it and won't be convinced otherwise, those who's knee-jerk reaction was to hate it and have changed their mind and those that think that this is the great change that it is.

NICK ill do a deal with you ill put up with the way the ranking system is now if iF IF you put these latest updates back.

I HATE these new updates, wish it would go back to how it was. this is after a week or so of playing with them

It's a little more realistic. Just because some of us like this, doesn't mean we have to go play real snooker.
