you just dont understand seb .
your a very good player in a short space of time
likes of me i took long long time get good and im still nowhere as good as you
i play regular alot . i had to find my strengths and weakness in regular .i learnt all the angles and what i can and cannot pot . but thats all gone now and i got do it all over again
these changes dont really affect the very good players but it affects everyone else
so i would like the pockets to be as they were before the changes please

It's about time positional play was more paramount, I really don't understand why you lot are whinging so much. These updates are only going to improve your game in the long run, stop moaning about the reduction of impossible shots.

I understand what you're saying. I just remember when I first started playing this game that I thought it would be impossible to string 3 pots together. It will be the same thing here. Once we learn the angles (even with these tougher cushions) again, it should be ok?
I actually think this update will make everyone a much better player because we'll have to play for position and move balls a lot more.

It will make all of us better, some may get used to the changes sooner than others, but there is no doubt everyones positional play will become better as it is necessary.
But can I ask, what are the other small changes?

The main one of course being the ball drop graphic

Other changes include an improved outline cursor, top center pocket in original snooker widened (so all centre pockets across the games are consistent), and better consistency between graphics and the underlying logic.

i cant understand how it will make us better when its like starting again :S

"Better" in a snooker sense. You will have to plan ahead to your next shot to get high breaks. Move reds off the cushion etc. All the things we didn't have to do before since it was pottable from anywhere

Its not like starting again, the change isn't that epic, its just minor, but people will have to adjust their game to get used to it, thus improving the playing standard.

but seb when you been playing and getting use to the table how it was and finally get half decent(knocking cents in etc) then it all changes, isnt the time u spent doing that a big waste of time?

But this game wouldn't be fun if there wasn't a tiny bit of a challenge...

It hasn't "all" changed. The only thing that's different is that the pockets are marginally tighter on shots along the cushion.
If you hit the center of the pocket you can still pot.
Haven't there been many major changes to spin etc in the past before I got here?
