we cant just go round saying who we want to be mods, nick needs to choose reliable people who he can trust but atm theres only 4-5 active mods, its even rare to see nick online

yeh it will be capped, people dont like there members who allot of pay to play express there opinions. pretty bad if you ask me and as you can see so far this is a very succsessful thread and allot of people agree

Which proves that the belief that a moderator is good or bad is merely subjective. The original point of this topic was to bring the lack of moderators on at certain times of the day to the attention of admin.

Granted, not everyone can be on all the time. Rather than just hiring people based on what is written in their application, why not actually check the times they log in to see if they're just going to be covering what most of the current staff do, or whether they'll actually contribute something more to the staff team by being on at different times.

There isn't any reason to cap this, its a discussion about what we as members expect from our moderating team. If we feel that it could be improved, why stunt the discussion?

Generally it's natural to have fewer mods on in the daytime as we have jobs and commitments outside of funky. Although i know a good few mods that are active during the daytime anyway! We give our time as often as we can
I don't think it's approriate to pick out mods who can/can't do our jobs...we all do the best we can and no matter what happens, it's near impossible to please everyone!

On the killer subject i'm confused? You expect to have a moderator present in every killer room? That clearly isn't feasable!

And with the applications, of course you can't judge how good a moderator will be by a paragraph or so. But every moderator is only promoted for a 2 week trial at first. If there's any problems, we simply aren't kept on!
