Also pretending to be a moderator is against site rules, so i would remove that post before an admin does it for you.

That attitude will get you nowhere.

You're right, it is against site rules to impersonate a moderator (in the T&C's), however, nothing stating that I can not advise you to not do something to get you out of trouble.

First of all i am not disapointed or can't go on in life that i cannot get 15-20 mins of playing funkysnooker without lagging and freezing. I just think no one in charge of the site can really give an indication why 10-15% of the site is in my situtation, I understand what spinner has said, But is there anyway of solving that?

Also the site was down all day saturday or sunday i re-call and nothing has been said why that was, Once again not a problem but was that something to do with the server or people connection etc?
Just maybe the site owner or the disciples could give some info to the users.

Also would a premium account make any different or not to lagging and freezing and that?

And jack_pot i don't call that an attitude, I just thought chat room and forum rules were the same so i am deeply sorry if i have offended you.

aimed at you.

about the sunday site downtime, it was a server issue, no question as everyone was affected, the host may have been upgrading i don't know, only nick or an admin can give you more info.

the part where damee told you swearing is against forum rules which it is then you said about damee acting like a moderator which he wasn't.

Getting a premium account will make little difference (if any) in my opinion, it just gets rid of adverts and get a choice of cues. May be worth a shout at £9.99 for a year though!

Dgen, there was no banter there, just leave it at that.

It's the adverts that cause the lag, so how will it make little difference if any? it will make a big difference imo.

i think the jackpot one causes a little bit as normal.

but if your into no ads (with less lag) and want a colourful cue as an addition then premium isn't a bad shout.

ive had premium once before and i got less lag than i did with adverts.

This might take a while...

1. Swearing on the forum is against site rules. This includes starring out your swear word. As far as I can tell you should still be able to edit your post, masterplan, so I suggest you take this opportunity to do so before someone does it for you.

2. Reminding someone of the site rules is not impersonating a moderator. In much the same way, me telling someone they can't murder someone is not me impersonating a policeman, it is just helpful advice to help people stay out of trouble.

3. Buying a premium account won't improve your connection, as the people who are responsible for this don't know, and probably don't care, if you have a premium account on Funkysnooker. I can also tell you that becoming a moderator won't help either as I keep getting connection problems. Buying a premium account does help keep the site running though so it is well worth it.

That is why i am not sure if i want to spend £10. If i was told the problem is the ads i could buy one, But if that is not the problem i will hold onto my £10.

Since as we are on about premium members, I think admins/owners should listen to them more rather than the people who sit on here all day and love the site and not give a penny towards it, Just my opinion. This is why i feel i should not be giving the site hard time, as it is free for me, so really i should not be moaning at all, or demanding changes like others do..

I confused a lot about java i have no idea which one i have now, Must in 20 or 21, which one do people recomend going to.

Also anyone with any problems my internet provider is Sky, But it can't be the broadband as if every other website works like really fast i doubt sky has a little grudge against funky snooker.

I have had my laptop for a year, No problems with it, regular updates, Virus scans and that.

I can get onto the game and play, Its just annoying when i pull back my mouse for full power and the white moves a mm, Or when i have 20 seconds to do a shot and i have it all aimed up it won't let me shoot.

I have to laugh at the last bit Adam. I remember you saying you were basically forced into buying a premium account, you certainly wern't thinking about how your money would help keep the site running lol.

Masterplan is talking about getting a lot of lag in game which is mainly down to the adverts, so i can't see how premium wouldn't help.

Well, before premium for me, I got lag the odd time. Now, I still get lag the odd time. It varies from person to person though, some people it helps a lot, some it helps none at all.

Yes buying a premium will help stop advert related lag, but it won't help the issue of people getting disconnected which is what most of the thread has been about .

What someone actually read something he said?

I am just going to put up with it like i have been for the last 2 week now, If i read something on here saying it's something to do with connection/server i can't do out about that.
But if it is something to do with my laptop or the adverts well i can do something about that.

Could be something up with your graphics card or something like that, please don't give me the rubbish oh my computer is only 1 year blah blah...

If the computer was not built to play games chances are it won't run them as smoothly as other applications, I would suggest if you wanna play this smoothly so much, close your other applications. May help a bit I know when I am runing a system scan, or have my AVG on my laptop is like a snail so I turn these off when playing and back on when I don't.

If that is aimed at my post then it is always advisable to read anything that mods/admins post, especially when they are warning you about your behaviour.

And on the connection issues, I would go with whatever spinner says, he is the authority on these things.
