Nick allowed newbies to enter tournaments again to increase the number of entries because there was hardly any members joining most of the tournaments and theres still not a great deal now really, so this is never happening. I think maybe reducing the amount of tournaments would be a better idea.

Completely agree. The reason more players used to join a long time ago was that a tournament was a rare thing. Now you don't bother joining because you know there is one 15 minutes later...

when i first tried for a Day Medal i entered Random as i like it then it was Carom and Original within the hour and i like those 2

the random and carom tourny clash is annoying IMO

Who said I was scared of anybody? Might be missing the point here. Im simply stating that Newbies shouldnt be allowed into Tournaments because it is not worthwhile to Non Newbies playing them...

Now those are the only 2 reasons. So what are the cons?
More people join = The Tournament takes alot Longer
0.1 - 0.3 for a win, when one of these wins can take 15 minutes (Original Semi Final could last 50 mins against a guy you would get 0.2 for)
Newbies who are genuine Newbies and dont know how to play making the matchup pretty pointless

I have been in a few Tournaments where the opponenet literally doesnt know how to play... and when its Power Snooker thats 15 minutes against somebody who doesnt understand what to do or how Power Works.

Hell me myself decided to enter Carom Tourny the other day, i dont have a clue what to do.. and my opponent was Adam.. its a pretty redundant match for Adam having to waste his time in a Tournament against an opponent who doesnt know what he is doing.

This is why I want Newbies Banned. It was tried, it doesnt work, so scrap

Its not about 'manning up, taking the loss'

The point is, some of these people that are Newbies, ARE newbies and dont have a clue how to pot Balls because they havent played before, or have played 10 games and dont know what they are doing... therefore, it is a waste of time them entering, hence they should be banned... you only need 10 Newbies entering Tournament and the tournment lasting an extra Hour than it would normally. That, is the point.


Its all well and good saying 'Newbies are allowed so increase tournament entries' wel it doesnt work when the people you allow into the tournament dont know how to pot 2 balls in a row OR know the rules of games.. many times ive had to explain how to play Power Snooker to somebody.

simple dont join them, the site dont just cater for regular members

when you play a newbie you don't lose or gain as much rank as normal as they play ranked games you start to lose/gain more as they are starting to lose newbie status the rank modification at 30 its like 90 odd % they gain/lose, 15 around 40-50%, 10 around 20-30%, 10 around 10-20%, 5 around 5-10%, then once reach 30 games its normal), but when newb plays newb the rank is normal

ban them from torns

so annoying especially resetters
