Very good point that actually. For that reason, i see the need for this.

Yeh thats exactly what was supposed to happen... The game ends after the first score or foul on the black. From earlier:
Couple of scenarios:
Your 60-40 up and foul - you win 60-47 and black is not respotted.
Your 60-50 up and foul - you win 60-57 and black is not respotted.
Your 60-54 up and foul - you lose 60-61 and black is not respotted.
Your 60-53 up and foul - black is respotted with scores at 60-60.

Nothing to feel bad about. You've just claimed the win as the black is unnecassary.

i foul the black all the time just to end the game, especially if its one of those really annoying players that wont concede but insists on playing on when they are 50 points behind with maybe 22 left and not even attempting snookers.

want a daft rule this is quite unreal if you ask me i am 37 the player im playing 43 goes in off i lose how needs sorting out fast worse rule i ever seen in my life crazy

That's wrong, it only gives a default win when your behind by 8 or more points.
