What about Steven Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Joey Barton & Andy Carroll? All players that should at least be given a chance for England.

Can't wait for Capello to just do 1.

I would have Richards, Smalling, Jones, Luke young all ahead of bloody johnson he is terrible. Has always been bad for england. And kelly at liverpool is better than him!!!

Johnson played well against West Brom that's about it I think. I much prefer Kelly.

But I would put Richards ahead of both of them and maybe Kyle Walker though not convinced on him.

Why are Downing and Zamora in there? They've been poor recently haven't they?

I dont think he has made any errors really. Maybe Richards, but thats it.

Hard times for England, I couldnt pick 10 players that deserve to wear that shirt in the upcomming games, that are good enough.

I will never understand why England can mass produce average players and claim they are brilliant.

Spain can produce classy players that they turn around and say, you just aren't good enough. The Spanish players who get told that are better than the England team.

I think the likes of, Lescott, Jagielka, Heskey, Baines, Walker, Taylor, Barton, Kelly, Luke Young and many other players like this... are very average (at best).

They can say, take a freekick or penalty, they might score a goal midweek or make a tackle --- and instantly all I hear is "England call up surely?"

I downed a whole can of full fat, freezing cold, gassy Coke Cola. After, my eyes were watering and I couldnt breath, but I managed it. I was half expecting to get an England call up myself... cant believe I havent recieved one.

I dont think these players will ever be good enough. For a country such as England, all our history etc, we need to be doing better than the names I've mentioned. I know its harsh, but they cannot compete on a national level. Same with Zamora, Heskey etc.

The fact that Defoe, Bent, Carroll, Welbeck dont get constistant call ups tells the story.

The England team gets changed around a lot, and I think its just because they dont no who is better out of players, dont no what formation to play, what style of play etc...

And this is blamed for when we lose (which always happens).

So when we lose to Spain, I hope Spain want to embarrass us, if they turn up with that attitude it will be 4-0 Spain no doubt...

It will be the formation, or squad selection. An individual error or we might blame the pitch. A Laser pen? Well, no wonder we lost!

The nation needs to realise we lose because our team is rubbish because we dont have the players anymore.

Walcotts, Lennons, Abonghlahors etc have one good game, four bad games, one average game.... its very inconsistant work. We dont have a solid team becuase are players are not good enough.

Plus we are playing Spain and Sweden... So it doesnt matter who we field, we will lose and draw those games at best regardless.

Interesting Fact about Loserpool on 5live tonight...

Last season, Roy Hodgson was Manager of Loserpool and after 11 games got 19 points. This, after he barely spent any money, and was not liked by Loserpool fans

Dungleish, has had 100million and after 11 games this season... surprise surprise 19 points.

Only 8 people knew about the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand name.. put it up Thursday night, and covered up with a banner.

Interesting England squad... how Richards is not included is anybodys guess, be interesting to hear Capellos view, but who will start up front?? And who will be the back 4?

Zamora and Bent combination seems the best....Spain squad full strength.

But England do have a few ommisssssions so the Spain/Sweden games wont tell us much..

Manchester United chiefs have been left more red-faced than even Sir Alex Ferguson when a blunder was pointed out in their tribute to the Red Devils manager.

On Saturday, Ferguson's 25th anniversary at the club was commemorated by renaming the north stand at Old Trafford as the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand.

But eagle-eyed signmaker Stewart Neill spotted that the 's' in 'Ferguson' had been installed upside down.

Lmfao.

The bit in bold is my favourite part!

I see your still a subscriber to Liverpool FC phone alerts Wood.

Beep beep beepedy beep.

Dalglish is under pressure by the way, just pop onto the Liverpool forum (your probably a member of all of them) and have a look for yourself.

Still the greatest manager ever to be in the game of football he's a figure who all managers should look upto!

He changed man utd, he made them what they are today! 25 years of Fergie and your club can achive anything!

And Stoke bolton hahahaha! What a result what a result lol

It's a joke, away 4-0 sunderland 2-0 Swansea 5-0 bolton drew to Norwich 3 points from Religation but it's all ok as we are doing awesome in Europe! It's a joke

Coates won't let us go down read somewhere he will spend 50mil if he has to in January just to give us a biger squad to help with the demand of the games

Europa League is a killer sometimes. I'd like to be in it don't get me wrong, but Thursday-Sunday is a bummer, especially if your away in Israel or Ukraine on the Thursday.

Can be a killer for the entire season, especially if players aren't used to it.

You are basically through your group though aren't you? So should just send out Salif Diao and your kids for the remaining games of the group!

I agree about Fergie. He deserves better than a dodgy S. Though it is Manchester so understandable that it was backwards.

As for England, we are going to be taught a lesson in keep ball. I say we just play our XI fittest players to run about a lot and hold out for a 0-0 if we can.

Always good to see Spain play I like the look of some of their new faces as well.

Jordi Alba is a left winger playing Left back and he looks a real talent, Javi Martinez is a brilliant centre mid for Bibao and Santi Cazorla is looking good for Malaga this season. Suprised Thiago Alacantara isn't in the squad, because he has been class for Barca this season when he's played and great for Spains u-21s in the summer.

I know it's a couple of weeks away, but what do you guys predict for the Man City vs Newcastle game??

Usually I would say that we would be lucky to get a draw, however with this new mentality that our team seems to have at the minute, I think a draw would be a fair result. There's a togetherness at Newcastle that I've never seen in my 19 year life time as a fan... Our players are decent, but they're nothing in comparison to Man City's players, yet both Newcastle & Man City are the only unbeaten teams this season. If we get a win or draw against City, then it'll be a unbeaten record run for Newcastle, so the determination will be phenomenal. For a team that on paper, doesn't look much in comparison to the old Entertainers team, they could make history!

My prediction is 1-1. Not many goals, as both teams have a fantastic defense, but it will be action packed there's no doubt about that. Cannot wait no matter what the result is though!

Sorry Jackpot

But unless Man City get 16 injuries on International Break, then City will win comfortably.

Don't know about that. Newcastle will be going there with such a buzz. I think City will be a little cautious, not really knowing what to expect. Last season when we weren't as good as we are now, we should have won against City on our first encounter.

If Tiote is fit, Cabaye is fit, and Obertan is fit, then we could give them a run for their money. Obviously it won't be an easy game, far from it. But I think we can snatch a draw. Remember we have conceded less goals than any other team in English football this season, so it definitely won't be a comfortable win for them.

Man City have scored 39 goals from 11 games. Cant see City being cautious whatsoever im afraid, in the form they are in why would they be cautious, especially after beating United 6-1.

It will be Newcastles First Real BIG Test in the Premier League, and I think they will be found out. Relativley easy start fixture wise, sure they played Arsenal who lets face it, were disasterous when Toon played them, Spurs 2-2 at home... Newcastle will be in that group of 4 or 5 behind the Top6, so with Everton, Stoke... which lets face it, is more than acceptable.

I think you underestimate Newcastle. I can understand where you're coming from though. However Newcastle are unpredictable. I would never have thought that we would be 3rd in the prem this far on, but we are, and we're looking strong. Confidence is buzzing all around Newcastle, and not just at St James. When Newcastle United are doing well, you can feel it throughout the whole city.

I don't think we will win.. And I don't think Pardew will be going there expecting to win, and I don't think the majority of Geordie fans will be expecting a win. We'll be looking for a draw, and if we want it enough on the day, I think we can get it. Pardew has 2 weeks to look at the Man City team and put together a good plan of action, like he did against Stoke, where, instead of playing like a Newcastle team, we played like a Stoke team, beating them at their own game.

See this could be the problem with Newcastle. Expectation. Absolutely fantastic start by the Toon, surprising and impressing everybody, and when they went to Stoke, they battered Stoke much to manys surprise, but I dont think they can GO to one of the Top 2 teams and win. If I won the lottery, i would bet ALL 10 Million on Newcastle not winning.

But Newcastle and their fans I think need to just not get too carried away really. Pardew has done fantastic, dont think anybody can deny this. They are upstarts! Like Norwich, Swansea, teams go through purple patches but then go down. Look at Hull City, went to Arsenal and won, beat everyone, and then slid down the table and avoided relegation on the final day of the season. Hopefully they can continue, and when they do go through a bad patch, they can still get some good results and finish Top 10.

But Newcastles next 3 games are Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

If I was a Newcastle fan, if Newcastle got 1 point from those 3 games id be happy.
