Completion bonus on defaults is only awarded if it's entirely one teams fault. A refusal to sub when an opponent was online as you confirmed you would do means some of the fault is yours so of course you should lose the default. I agree with dgen, the role of the captain is to get as many games played as possible, people are here for enjoyment first and foremost.

Still though would you be willing to chuck a potential 7 bonus points to let the games go to default? i think some would but for example if theirs 1 game left then it seems a waste to me as bonus is worth more at that point.

I think in some cases its about Mathematics regarding do we benefit from the bonus or not, if not then some clans may take that gamble

First, why do i need bonus point when they get bonus point from it aswell? It makes no difference in the league table

Second, its not fair to sub out someone who tried to arrange his games. If my captain did it to me i wouldnt be happy

It can make all the difference towards end of the season, for example if your second in the table and Dollars are first and you need 15 points from the last match to win which is impossible even if you win 6-0 so lets say you win 4-2, now you are 4 behind with all your games played, those 7 bonus points meant the difference between winning the title and being runner up.

Second, I understand that mate (never said otherwise) and most clans wouldn't sub either but some would for the completion bonus (if it was a win bonus then their is no benefit from you playing).

All i asked is would you be willing to let go of the completion bonus to get more points from defaults but has been answered by the form of "Yes".

I'm not against it as each clan works different and the other clan has had every opportunity to provide a sub so they wouldn't blame you for not subbing.

However at the same time the panel may not see it as completely their fault so you might not be awarded the bonus (but maybe you would i'm not sure) so by a default the clan with all the activity could have wasted 7 bonus points

In general, letting games go to defaults is not acceptable if it can be avoided.
In this specific case, i agree with erigerts position though for a specific reason. He did not want to sub out corsair who had made a lot of effort and was available the entire time except on the last night. Corsair had communicated this to his opponents ahead of time.
If Dirty Dozen's available subs had all been offline, then they could have said so and that wouldve been ok. There would be nothing their captains could do about it.
In this case though, there WERE active subs available who were not subbed in. They shouldve been subbed in at the very latest when corsair told them that he would be unavailable from a certain point in time. In that case, i dont see how you can then force them to sub out corsair.

This sort of a decision would be weighed up by the defaults panel if such a case arises. No need to go into the details here, since it's a case by case decision

We only found out that corsair was unavailable on deadline day when I messaged him on Facebook. NA didnt tell us beforehand and Jack has regularly played games on Sundays before, especially last season. I'm not psychic, information like that should be passed on by the NA captain when he is asking for a sub. Just posting "sub please" is worth nothing, you should tell your opponents something like "corsair needs a sub. He will be on Friday and Saturday so that's best and he won't be available on deadline day". Then it's the job of the team with the inactive player to find a sub who can match their times, regardless of how heavily they will get beaten. We had Lyle in who plays 90% at least of his games on Sundays in against Jack who also regularly gets games done on Sundays. The info about Jacks availability on deadline day was all from me, not from NA telling us in advance.

My main point was that the only time when leaving someone who's been offline a month is ok, is when you dont have active subs. That wasnt the case here

Ok we take all this on board. We managed to get through tricky period doing whatever we could to complete the fixture. it wasn't ideal but on our end it was purely through necessity rather than tactical. we now appear to have 9 active players for this set, therefore I don't foresee a repeat happening

I dont know about you, but I am tired of having to go through the site overview just to see what players are in which team.

People are entitled to their own Profile Picture sure... but it would be alot easier if everyone had their team as their photo!!!!!

True but we can't force each user of your team to have your clan picture, For example i am on loan to Dozen this set but i'm not displaying their picture.

1) Clifton188 be forced to rematch The Lord
2) All clan individual tournament games and clan cup games must have safe breaks banned. By safe breaks i mean you are banned from snookering your opponent from the break off

This is unfair. I am the greatest of all time/// the clan indiv was MY tournament this season... and clifton cheated me out of it by snookering me from the break in reg and Orig... causing me to obviously foul... and then he clears with 99 breaks in both. How is this fair. This isnt fair. This is the biggest controversy since Pleb-Gate!!!!

I demand that clan games of Carom.... each player has 3 wins of the lag.... because it is unfair if someone wins 6 lags and scores points all the time. Its essentially giving them breakoffs
